Security State Bank is having a pumpkin decorating contest.  Here is the bat we entered. 

We also made ghosts to decorate our room. Pretty scary!

 

Our class is working with the story "Shiloh".  We will do a book/movie comparative on Friday.  The students are welcomed to bring something to drink and I will pop some popcorn for them to enjoy.

 

We began presenting our state projects.  These projects were a good introduction to research and being responsible for a deadline.  Students are also learning important lessons in time management.

 

On October 17 and 18, we will not have school.  These days are set aside for teachers to take in Professional Development.  Enjoy the 4 day weekend.
