Wishek Elementary Students February 22rd, 2013 School Gym at 7:00 p.m. Admission $4 with free will accepted Students are being asked to consider participating in the Children's theatre again this year.  We will audition the Monday after state wrestling with the performance on Friday, Feb. 22nd.  This is an incredible experience for the kids. Looks like we will be ready for a Science test next week!   Keep working on those war reports!  March will come faster than we think! Remember if you have emptied salt cartons or have burned out a light bulb, I can use them in my classroom!

Happy Monday!  We jumped right in with both feet this morning.  We decided to complete our Cum Test in Math on Friday as usual.  Aims testing was our priority for today. 

Discussion about the War Reports was finalized.  Our reports are due March 7th with presentations to be completed by the 15th.  Flash drives will be used to store our power point presentations.  The report and the presentations need to work together.  Students were asked to use the evaluation form to help develop reports.

Social Studies test planned for Thursday.  I have inserted a power point presentation to help with the test.  If you child has an ipod, they can study using this tool as well as the computer.

     School dismissed at 1:00!!!! We didn't get our Math test completed so we will get that in next week.  The assessment will wait until Friday as we normally do.  Enjoy the weekend!  I am looking forward to baking and a good book!

Happy New Year!!!!!  It was great to get back into the classroom!

Students came back remembering to be respectful and left all sarcasm and put downs outside the classroom door!  Yeah! We worked hard to eliminate that from our classroom the first half of the year and will continue to do that.  Students have so much to talk about and have had to work on finding appropriate times to share.  Getting back into the swing of things should happen quickly.

 

We are now into the third quarter of the year!  Wow! The school year is going so fast.  We have lots to accomplish yet and planning for spring fieldtrips has begun.  The Missoula Children's theatre will again help with a presentation in our community.  This will happen the last week of February.  I encourage the students to take part in this opportunity.  The productions are amazing!
